Corel reef

Corel reef
The Corel reef is a unique ecosystem
It is full of life but the situation is changing. Green house gases are causing the sea to warm up. Scientists have known of this problem for a long time but there is a second lesser known problem ...Carbon dioxide. Some people say it's the evil twin of climate change. It is dissolving in the ocean and changing the sea water levels. If the sea continues to rise in less then 50 years the reef will disappear.

Freeze by James

As the first scrapings of light take over from the lonely night. The frozen leaves twinkle in the morning sun and the birds start to sing there song. Pop! My eyes flicker open and the toaster launches the burnt toast into the air and onto my plate. Crunch! I bite into my toast.

RUN by James

I was gasping for air. My palms were sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy while my flash light was not helping at all. It was down to a faint glow and at the top of my worst list there was a giant spider hot on my heels.  It was getting closer. Its legs chartering on the sharp jungle floor. My heart was pumping so hard that it could fly out of my chest. My rucksack jiggling so hard it could fly away.
I was being torn to bits by the thorns. I was running so hard. I looked back and I saw to my relief the monster was getting smaller and smaller but I still ran hard. I was so tired I think my senses were dull. I thought, "I'm safe". So I slowed down and started to walk. I was panting so hard I did not realise that I was about to walk into a wall. Bang! My head whacked a stone. Stunned, I tumbled back. I tripped and fell back.

Lamborghini gallordo By James

A flash of beauty comes zooming past with its engine roaring violently like a puma stalking its prey. Suddenly it shifts into 3rd gear and its matte black chassis is gone with its aerodynamic light weight carbon fibre body making it even faster. Screeching out of the quadruple exhaust pipes comes flaming nitrus making it two times faster. As the back wheels spin to a stop its engine purrs like a soft cat, echoing into the dark night.

The Ancient Castle by James

The ancient castle, although it was rubble, perched on the lonely deserted hill in the dystopian society.

JAMES kid pix portrait

Today in room 9 we made our portait on kid pix. It was pretty hard but we got into it. I really like my self portrait and I hope you do to.
