We read a comic strip about the spice race in the 1600's and we had to summarise it and display it on a poster. We learnt information such as, Christopher Columbus accidentally discovered the West Indies when he was trying to find India to get silk, spices and gold.
Hello Lola,Alice and Alex i loved your spice race poster it is really interesting about Christopher Columbus and that he went to Africa by mistake but was planning on going to India to get spices and gold i think that i have learnt lots about the spice race since i knew nothing about the spice race i loved the layout and pictures, nice work keep it up.
