Well, the first day school back at school was lots fun! We talked about how to build positive relationships and what should go on our class treaty. We did a bit of writing and practiced drawing koru patterns which will decorate the whakairo we design tomorrow. We also learnt a couple of new days called 'Noodle Rush' and 'Class Photo'. What a busy day!
I was really impressed with how respectful and responsible all the pupils in Room 11. They are going to be excellent role models for the younger children at Grey Lynn School. We are going to have a spectacular year!
Don't forget to edit the surface features of your writing more carefully next time!
ReplyDeleteIt was great to read that there are two new days in the week called Noodle Rush and Class Photo!!! Very intriguing!!
It was a very fun school back to school day (he he).

Well done Room 11. Grey Lynn School relies heavily on all year six children to set high standards, to be responsible and to show respect to self, each other and the school. Your role modelling is so important to our year 1-5 children. Thank you for starting the year so well.

Yay for Room 11! I really enjoyed watching your photo montage and seeing all your smiling faces! They let me know you're really happy ! I think your role as Year 6's is an important one and I know that my Year 4's will be looking up to you to see how they should act ! No pressure, eh ! I say, piece of cake for you awesome kiddies !
ReplyDeleteHave an awesome year !
