During Terms 1 and 2, Alex, Lucy and George from Room 11 and Maia, Kyle and Faye from Room 15 worked with Dorothy (our school librarian-teacher) to record some of the most important aspects of Grey Lynn School's history.
The team worked incredibly hard and their articles published on the Living Heritage website are fascinating to read. We are so proud of them!
Grey Lynn School has been around for 100 years (nearly 101) so we have a rich history of interesting events. Our school has grown, developed, changed, grown again and changed some more over the last century. Click on the green link below to read these wonderful writers work.
Hi Team Heritage,
ReplyDeleteI am extremely proud of your efforts and the final web site looks fantastic and rich with information that you have selected to portray Grey Lynn School.
You also presented well at assembly - you were confident, projected your voice and well prepared.
Congratulations
the living heritage website is cool because it taught me things like how g.l.s. has always had its
ReplyDeletemoto which is amazing because i thought i knew everything (almost everything) (half of everything)
(not even close to everything) so thanks for posting the website the link to the website was also very conveniant. :).
Thank you for publicising your work on this blog. I have had quite quite a bit of feed back from people not at the school now who have had a look at "Living Heritage" and think you have done a great job.
