The Task was to make a national costume of any third world country.
We decided to do a Kurta which is from India.
A Kurta is a flexible dress that can be worn as a formal dress or an every day dress.
A Kurta can be a man's outfit or a woman's outfit.
A Kurta is usually long sleeved.
A Kurta is brightly coloured so it is easy to see at a special occasion.
A man's Kurta is a long sleeved t-shirt with baggy pants.
The Kurta is not always worn with shoes. It is mostly worn with a scarf that matches the pants.
A Kurta usually has a veil to make the back of the Kurta not as plain.
The Kurta was made by Mia M.
The research was done by Emma and Eva.
Kia ora Mia M, Emma and Eva - love the team work evident in your project and how you have managed to be creative whilst sharing information about the Kurta.
