Bon Voyage Maia!

On Friday, we had a french party, to say goodbye to Maia, who was going to live in France on Sunday. We all had to dress up like we were french people. Every single person had a moustache, either drawn on (by Madeline, Salote, and Jennifer) or stuck-on.
We had an awesome shared lunch, that included grapes, cake, cookies, drinks, marshmallows as well as French food like brie and crackers, pain au chocolate and friands. Everyone had fun, but were sad to see Maia go. We will always remember, her talent to spell ANYTHING, her love for rats, her amazing stories and her giggles.

    1. Room 11 what a wonderful way to farewell a person who has been a very popular student in your class. I too will miss Maia. She is a very talented writer and I wish Maia and her family well in France.

  5. What a lovely good bye. Your choice of music was also moving as I got a wee tear in my eye. Maia will take Grey Lynn with her and the resilience and friendship skills she learned will help her build her new life in Lyon.

Bon Voyage Maia and well done Salote and Madeline in making a montage of your special good bye.
